1. Shipping and packaging
Voltcarshop.com covers reasonable shipping costs in consumer complaint cases, the easiest way to get shipping covered is to ask for a “return shipping label” before submitting the product. Voltcarshop.com encourages proper packaging when shipping, as it is the responsibility of the sender. For example, loose internal components such as graphics cards, motherboards, hard drives and the like should always be sent in an anti-static bag – or as received.
Voltcarshop.com also encourages that all products are packed securely in suitable padding (e.g. bubble wrap or other shock-absorbing material) and packed in a cardboard box so that the products cannot be damaged during transportation. Also note that if the box is not completely filled, some product types may be damaged as they may be thrown around a bit inside – even though the box is very full.

2. Application of the right of complaint
Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect. If a complaint is made within 2 months, the complaint will always be within a reasonable time. The first thing you should do is check if your product is covered by the direct support that some manufacturers offer. If your defective item is covered by direct support, it does not need to be returned to Voltcarshop.com. Contacting the manufacturer or their designated service partner will speed up the turnaround time. This often means a real exchange or repair at your address. The customer is strongly encouraged to make a statement about the product’s fault or defect in connection with the complaint, as failure to do so may mean a prolongation of the process due to troubleshooting.

Voltcarshop.com cannot be held liable for loss of customer data, unless it follows directly from Danish law. Voltcarshop.com therefore encourages the customer to make a copy/backup of all data. To the extent that Voltcarshop.com may be liable, the liability is limited to the direct loss, and thus does not include indirect losses such as loss of earnings, transportation costs, operating losses, installation costs or the like.

Goods that are not covered by the warranty and/or that are received without proper packaging will be repackaged and an amount corresponding to Voltcarshop.com’s expenses for necessary and proper packaging will be charged.

We will reimburse reasonable shipping costs incurred by you in connection with the return of the goods when the complaint is justified. However, we recommend that you contact us so we can send you a return shipping label and pay the shipping in advance.

3. Returned goods that do not contain defects
When sending defective or incorrect goods to Voltcarshop.com, where a fault or defect, defined and specified by the customer, is not found (or the fault is not covered by warranty/complaint), the goods will be returned to the customer and in some cases a test or handling fee may apply. The fee is DKK 420,- per hour incl. VAT, with a minimum of 1 hour calculated. The test fee is calculated based on time spent on testing and troubleshooting.
The customer will always be contacted before we send the item back with a bill.

4. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Please note – the right of withdrawal does not apply to business purchases.

In consumer purchases, you always have a 14-day right of withdrawal when shopping at Voltcarshop.com.
You must notify us within 14 days of receipt that you wish to cancel your purchase. The notice must be given at support@voltcarshop.com or by telephone contact, alternatively the standard withdrawal form can be used. In your notice, you must clearly inform us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal runs from the day you receive your product until the day it is shipped or returned.
We kindly request that the item is returned within 14 days of notification of cancellation.

Return shipping
When exercising the right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the costs of returning the goods, e.g. return shipping.
Some types of goods cannot be returned by normal carrier, for example, large format printers or similar products heavier than 30 kg. In this case, Voltcarshop.com can be contacted for the use of one of our partners, for example, a freight carrier or special transportation for the return of the item. However, this shipping cost will be deducted from the value of the product when refunding the amount to the customer and is expected to amount to a maximum of DKK 1.200,-.
If you have purchased multiple items on one order and only regret part of your purchase, we will not refund the delivery costs.

Please note that you are responsible for the delivery of the goods and proper packaging.

It is not a requirement, but the expedition is facilitated if our online RMA form is completed and enclosed with the return shipment of the goods and other relevant information such as a copy of the invoice or order confirmation, registration and account number or a copy of previous correspondence, etc.

The condition of the item when you send it back.
You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods caused by handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. In other words, you can try the product in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store.

If the item has been tested in addition to what is described above, we consider it as used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only get part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item.
This value is determined as an estimate by Voltcarshop.com.
In case of depreciation, this will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Impairment is assessed if the item is returned in a used and deteriorated condition so that it cannot be resold as new. Based on this, Voltcarshop.com will assess the depreciation and return to you before refunding the amount.

The defect rules of the Sale of Goods Act may apply.
To receive a full refund, you must do the same as you would in a physical store. You may test the product, but not actually use it. The item must be undamaged, without signs of wear and tear, without scratches and in a clean and tidy condition if you want to be sure to get your money back. Therefore, be careful when unpacking the product, do not remove protective foil/plastic etc. and be careful not to scratch or mark the product. The product should look as you would expect a brand new product to look – in short, as you received it.
When purchasing products in product groups where the packaging is a significant part of the new value of the product, the intact original packaging is always a significant part of the value of the product. The packaging must therefore always be returned for the mentioned product groups (Computers, printers, network devices, Hi-Fi equipment, cameras, camcorders, scanners, radios, TVs, video equipment, GPS equipment, game consoles and stand-alone hardware devices) in order to receive a full refund.

Health or hygiene products or other goods that are not suitable for return will not be accepted if they have been used. It is possible to inspect the goods without using them. This includes products that have been in contact with food, skin, hair or similar.

It is at the customer’s risk that the item is returned safely to Voltcarshop.com.

You can also cancel by refusing to accept the goods from the carrier, however, we require that you notify us, otherwise it will extend the processing time. You can also drop off the item in person at our address within the warehouse’s opening hours.

You can also return the item to us with a completed standard withdrawal form, a copy of the invoice and details of your bank account number and bank registration number.

Refund of amounts
If you cancel your purchase, you will of course receive a refund of the amount you have paid to us.
In the event of a depreciation for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your own choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we have received notification of your decision to withdraw from this agreement.
As a rule, the amount will be refunded to the same credit card used to make the purchase, if this is not possible, the refund can be made to your bank account.
It is therefore important that we receive your bank’s registration and account number.

5. SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR ECONOMIC OPERATORS
Terms of sale for traders are referred to as trade purchases and follow the ‘Bekendtgørelse af lov om køb’.
There is no right of withdrawal for traders.
The warranty period is 1 year from the original invoice date, with the exception of consumer goods such as batteries, toner and ink cartridges, etc. where the warranty period is only 6 months, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Replacement or repair does not trigger a new 1-year warranty period.
In the event of complaints, the buyer is responsible for the cost of returning the item to Voltcarshop.com or the manufacturer’s workshop.

Products with defects will be repaired if possible.
